Lisa Marie Olson, Entrepreneur and Creative Director designs in all things Lily the Lamb, Alice by Lily, Felt Fairyland, Felt Storyland, and Felt Wonderland from the heart of her home studio in Staffordshire!
Lisa Marie is a visual storyteller who uses soft textiles such as felt, fabric, and threads to create interesting and fun narratives.
As Seen on TV, "Award Winning", Voted Best of British, and published author of the title Felt Wonderland are just a few of the highlights of Lisa Marie's creative life. Her love affair with creative arts started at school with needlework and textile arts. Lisa Marie quickly realised that she had a natural flair and ability to create wonderful things with threads, fabric, ribbons, buttons, and leftover bits and bobs. After a short time, Lisa Marie began making things for family and friends adding finishing touches to a room, such as a roman blind, customizing bags, and making unique accessories.
Her interest in creative pastimes continued into adulthood, where Lisa Marie was able to save money by making and customizing not only her wardrobe but her home too.
Over the past 35+ years, Lisa Marie' has continued to develop skills in all areas of creativity, from creating decorative items for the home, up-cycling, paper crafting, and felt-making.
Many of Lisa Marie's designs are created and inspired by an enormous love of classic fairy tales and stories such as Alice in Wonderland, The Chronicles of Narnia, The Hobbit, The Grimm Brothers, and Dickens. It is the characters and adventures within the pages that jumped out and sparked Lisa Marie's interest from a very early age. It is those very characters that have inspired her unique Lily the Lamb, Alice by Lily, felt wonderland and felt fairyland ranges and the adventures that follow them.
Since becoming vegan over 4 years ago, all kits and finished heirloom creations have now been adapted to use vegan-friendly and sustainable materials such as bamboo fibers.
Lisa Marie has continued to develop her skills further, by producing her designs on various fabrics and making baby clothes.
It is Lisa Marie's goal to continue to develop these and other designs and share the wonderful creations and stories across a wide range of mediums, such as gifts, homewares, and most importantly crafting products so that the magic and adventures can be enjoyed by all.

Fun Fact
As a teen, I tentatively tried horse riding, a dappled grey called Rupert. Rupert decided he liked the look of the grass on a roundabout and galloped off to eat it! Luckily, I held on for dear life and all was well, but that was my one- and only-time riding horses and a sign really as I later became vegan and would want horses to roam free.

Vegan Sunday Roast
When the cold winter days set in, we love nothing more than a full plant-based roast with vegan cheesy sprout Grattan, roast potatoes, vegan Yorkshires, lots of veg, and lashings of vegan gravy.
Family & Pets
Married to husband Phil, have one grown-up son Lloyd, two adorable rescue dogs Luke & Leia (spot the Star Wars fans), and a rescue cat called sox. When we are not at work we love nothing more than spending time together, marathon gaming nights, movies, and camping.
